ITV News interview- Paternity Leave Campaign

At @lgbt_mummies we have been supporting @dadshiftuk in their campaign for better Paternity leave in the UK.Often it’s forgotten that LGBTQIA+ non birthing mothers and parents added Paternity Leave, and that we ‘should’ be also written into law- yet we are not.

So we have teamed up to support @dadshiftuk for their Paternity Leave Campaign to acquire better leave and pay for Dads and Non-Birtjing Parents, and the Government are listening and will be reviewing this.

Our Founder @whostherealmama was interviewed by @itvnews to share why it’s important that non birthing mothers and parents are including in any legislative changes and the impact it can have on them not having long worn their baby and partner(s).

We will continue to support @dadshiftuk in the campaign so that Non-Birthing Mother’s and Parents have a voice in any changes and that the lanterns and policy reflects us and our families.
