BRAND REFRESH: WE ARE 'LGBT MUMMIES'
WE ARE LGBT MUMMIES

Some of you may have noticed a change across our social channels of our name, logo & links in the early hours of the morning today.We’ve been working in the background for quite some time on a brand refresh (having baby3 & the pandemic set us back slightly!)
.
Over the past year or so,we have had a handful of people in our community reach out & explain that they felt the use of the word Tribe was not appropriate, especially in light of the BLM Movement. We have always used the word in a positive way to describe our amazing collective of strong, supportive women & people coming together to celebrate their journeys, however felt it was crucial we listen to people’s views.

From listening & engaging with them, we went away, did our research, educated ourselves further & decided that we would change our name. We were supported by an amazing member of our community, Founder @jenniferallen11 of Contently London helped us rebrand.

We made the decision to sit with “LGBT Mummies” as it is similar to what we were before, & will continue to support everyone in the same way, alongside our campaigning for ALL LGBT+ intended parents & parents.

All our brand imagery has been updated or newly created from the lovely Beth Burnet to ensure as many people within our global community are represented & celebrated.

Our Mission strapline is now
“Educate, Support, Advocate”:
We work passionately to educate our community on their paths to parenthood, alongside educating organizations & Allie’s in how to best support our people.

We provide support to you during the tough times & the good times, celebrating your journeys throughout.
.
And we Advocate-for those whose voices are seldom heard, represented & supported so that policies, laws & guidelines are framed to support our paths in an inclusive & considerate manner.

We are excited for the future & have a few more announcements in the next few weeks of great news & will share with you accordingly
