We are delighted to announce that we have been published! We were asked to be a Patient Reviewer for a Journal paper about Same Sex IVF written by the amazing Professor Catherine Meads & Professor Susan Bewley. Upon being involved, both our Founder Laura-Rose & Katy Lindermann of Uberbarrens Club were asked to be involved as Co-Authors of the paper for another Journal.
The research paper discusses why the proportion of Same Sex couples are choosing IVF over DI exponentially in the last ten years & possible reasons bf behind the increases.

It has now been accepted by the Healthcare Journal & is published & now live on their website as a research paper!

Catherine Meads
Is a Professor of health and specializes in putting evidence together in specialised reports called systematic reviews, particularly in the field of LGBT health. She also works with UK Government to advise how to improve LGBT+ Health.

Susan Bewley
Is a retired obstetrician (pregnancy doctor who deals with complications). She’s been watching and reporting complications of IVF pregnancies for 30 years. She’s also a researcher and have a particular interest in the overuse of medical technologies and even abuse in medicine.

Katy Lindermann
I'm a former fertility patient and patient advocate, who had multiple rounds of IVF (unsuccessfully). I now write about infertility & pregnancy loss, am involved in academic research into fertility issues as a patient engagement lead, and collaborate in industry initiatives to improve the experience for fertility patients.

Laura-Rose Thorogood
Is Founder of The LGBT Mummies Tribe, a writer, speaker, LGBT+ Family Activist & Fertility Advocate. She works directly with the NHS, met with UK Government & works with fertility clinics, sperm banks & organizations to improve support for LGBT+ families on the path to parenthood.

As always, we are working hard to ensure the Government, NHS & other regulators collect data on ALL our community, however this will take some years to collect.
