Member of ELC Community (Eurocentral Asian Lesbian Community)

We have been supporting and campaigning with ELC to support the Non Bio Mothers in Italy who have been retroactively removed from the birth certificates of their children by the Italian Government.

Through coming together, we were asked if we would like to join ELC as a member, to strengthen the work we can go together to support LGBTQ+ women and people, but also ensure we can campaign together to create more positive change globally for our families.

We are now delighted to be a Member and looking forward to working together more cohesively and actively fight against discrimination and the erasure of LGBTQ+ women and people and their families, and work towards a more inclusive future.

The Eurocentralasian Lesbian* Community – EL*C is a lesbian feminist and intersectional network. The EL*C started out of a self-organised space six years ago, recognizing the multitude of needs surrounding the rights, the visibility and the well-being of lesbians throughout Europe and Central Asia. Our conferences are our lighthouses – shaping connections, sharing knowledge, finding common languages and understandings of our diversities, building bridges that reach and impact far beyond the time and space at which they take place.
