We are extremely excited to announce our newly formed partnership with Slater Heelis .

This collaboration will help educate our women & people in the LGBT+ community on a range of legal issues as they embark on their journey to becoming parents, or in respect of their family, including issues about surrogacy and fertility treatment, employment rights, family matters and much more.

It comes as Slater Heelis celebrates its status as Corporate Partner with the LGBT Foundation, and becoming the preferred legal contact for Switchboard, which operates nationally.

About Slater Heelis

After a long period of sustained inequality, LGBT+ couples now have the same rights to marriage, divorce, arrangements for children, and financial settlements as heterosexual couples. Despite this, many in the LGBT community are understandably concerned as to how the law will affect their particular situation, bearing in mind that no two families are ever alike.

The team at Slater Heelis can advise families on the legal aspects of their chosen route to parenthood, ensuring that members have a full understanding of their rights and helping steer the sometimes bumpy road of parenthood and family creation.

They can also provide advice on;

  • Donor Agreements

  • Pre-Fertility Treatment Agreements

  • Parental Responsibility

  • Financial Settlements

  • Co-Habiting Agreements

  • LGBT+ Family Law disputes

  • Divorce

  • Wills
