FERTILITY IN THE WORKPLACE-FERTILITY WORKPLACE PLEDGE

Delighted to be in Parliament again wednesday with @twocitiesnickie and our friends campaigner Katy & @fertilitymattersatwork @officialmysurrogacyjourney @burgess_mee @fertilitynetworkuk @equalityfortransfamilies @lgbt_mummies @gatelylegal @theivfnetwork with MP Nickie Aiken for the Fertility Workplace Pledge We met with so many MP’s and @hfeaofficial attended to share our White Paper written by @fertilitymattersatwork @fertilitynetworkuk @manmetuni @lgbt_mummies and @officialmysurrogacyjourney managing with the survey and design to share the research and statistics behind the need for better support and policies to support people on a fertility journey. 

So many of them shared their own personal stories and their support for those going on a fertility journey and the Pledge. We spoke about the importance of support for people on a fertility journey for both those physically going through it and non gestational partners too within our LGBTq+ community & the barriers and implications we have to overcome as a community, before even starting fertility treatment- and how employers need to step up and support better!

@definingmum & our CEO recorded a podcast with MP Nickie Aiken after the event talking about what we feel is needed from employers moving forward. .
