Agora open day & LGBT Mummies speaking

So today @lgbt_mummies & our besties @twodads.u.k @officialmysurrogacyjourney were invited to come to the amazing @agorafertility Clinic in Brighton to visit their new building, meet those looking to start their fertility journey & talk about our own journeys, things to consider & what LGBTQ+ TTC may consist of.

.

It was a day of different topics with lots of people attending looking to start their journey

.

BUT…. I was sneaky!

I went on a little tour of their new building &-WOW

.

They have thought of EVERYTHING.

Just a few amazing things I saw today;

.

They have beautiful embryo paintings in their reception waiting area

LGBTQ+ staff-nothing better than seeing yourself reflected in the staff, who understand your needs!

Every floor was a different colour for the different parts of your journey with inclusive signs

Bright, airy it was an inspiring & positive space

Staff are personable, passionate & know all their patients well & have LGBTQ+ competency training

Clear representation for the LGBTQ+ community in their posters, banners & spaces to make our community feel safe & realize it’s a inclusive space to enter

All the rooms are named after different fertility Gods, stones or themes etc

They even had Trans/Non Binary named rooms, including safe spaces for those to provide gamete/sperm samples comfortably

Their state of the art lab opens so that as you’re about to have a transfer, you can see them preparing it!

Calm rest rooms before & after your treatment

Main circular light above the stairs changes to the Pride flag colours!

The “Ice Suite” for where sperm & eggs are kept has windows built in to see inside where yours are kept ready & waiting-tall enough for your family to see too!

.

They have thought of everything down to the last detail to ensure our community feel it’s a calming, safe & inclusive space to start their family & the passion of their staff shines through

.

If you’d like to visit or hear more give them a follow
