UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD LGBTQIA+ SURVEY - SHAPING FUTURE RESEARCH - GET INVOLVED!


The National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit at the University of Oxford, the James Lind Alliance, @lgbt_mummies @lgbtfdn @uk_mutual_aid @transparentchange and others are working on a ground-breaking Priority Setting Partnership to help shape future research that is done on LGBTQIA+ experiences. WHY? There isn’t enough research around LGBTQIA+ people trying to get pregnant, becoming and being pregnant, birth, infant feeding and the first year after birth. WHO CAN TAKE PART?

LGBTQIA+ people Their family and supporters The perinatal healthcare professionals who work with them Surrogates and those who have donated sperm or eggs You need to live or work in the UK to take part LGBTQIA+ people means those who may be able to get pregnant, or whose partner/s may be able to get pregnant, or who may use surrogacy, fostering or adoption (of a baby under one year old).


HOW CAN YOU SHARE YOUR VOICE?

In this short survey you can tell us what questions you want answered by research in this area. From the questions people send in, we will then identify together the Top 10 priorities for research that would improve care, experiences and outcomes around pregnancy, birth and the year after birth for LGBTQIA+ people.
